#3 Gnarled Oak Cardigan

A note about yarn choice and gauge:

For this design, I felt that the dk weight yarn knit at a tighter than normal gauge made the leaf and cable motif at the yoke really stand out. If you happen to knit loosely, you may find that you are more easily able to achieve the same gauge by substituting a thinner yarn such as a sport weight. Remember that although the thickness of yarn is a personal preference, the most important thing is that you are able to match the pattern gauge.

Materials should read:
5 (6,6,7,8)[8,9,10,11] skeins

For Buttonband and Buttonhole Band:
Ribbing setup row (WS): P3, {k2, p2} until 5 sts remain, k2, p3.

#4 Wildflower Cardigan

A note about yarn choice and gauge:

For this design, I felt that the sport weight yarn knit at a tighter than normal gauge made the textured sts on the pocket really stand out nicely. If you happen to knit loosely, you may find that you are more easily able to achieve the same gauge by substituting a thinner yarn such as a fingering weight. Remember that although the thickness of yarn is a personal preference, the most important thing is that you are able to match the pattern gauge.

#5 Little Oak

Buttonhole Band:
